How does the weather affect our mood? Ever been cranky when its too hot, or listless or depressed when it's cold or rainy?

The weather does not affect my mood. Contrarily, my mood can affect the my views on the weather. Most of the time I am energic and delighed, and whether the weather is good or not I like it. The sunny day, there is so much sunshine for free! There are fewer and fewer things for free these days but the sunshine is free, hehe! The rainy day, it feels good to listening to the rain singsing and I prefer to staying in to keep dry and clean. The hot days can force you to work hard and tha cold days give you the chance to sit around the fire and know you are so happy.

Great, you have a good attitude to the life. Most of the things happened are out of our control, but we can control our own mood. Even there are lots of thing seems unfair to us to others' eyes, but we can face them at home, that's the good way to live. Thanks friends.

I am more productive in a cool weather -- specially when it requires a lot of thinking. However, on sunny days, I am physically hyper. I read from somewhere its because there is something in the sun's rays that releases energy and thus make us more physically active. This is also the reason why, people just want to stay in bed if its raining or when the sun is out. :)

The only weather that really effects me in a big way is when it's really hot or if I'm around snow. When it's really hot I find myself getting a bit cranky. I see this in a lot of other people as well. I work at a theme park and during the summer it gets crazy hot. During the morning and afternoon hours people are just on edge. The guests and the workers. I notice that when it cools down toward the evening hours everybody is happier. That's why during the summers I love working closing shifts. Now the snow... Well, I live in Southern California so we really don't see much snow out here. When I go somewhere with snow I find myself becoming more happy than normal. I love playing in the snow and throwing it at my friends. :)

i tend to get cranky if its too hot and muggy, i dont handle the heat very well. i also have major knee issues and hate it when the air is damp (both during the winter and summer) becuase during these times, i can barely walk!

for me the weather does affect my mood. when it's too hot i am also very ill tempered or hot headed. but when it's raining and the atmosphere is cold then i'd feel really good and happy. i guess the temperature around us does affect our mood or our brains. lol,

Yes, the weather will affect our mood. If the weather is cloudy, our mood is oppressed. If the sunshine weather the mood is good and will be happy to do everything.

When it is rainy, cloudy, grey, or snowy I am depressed. I was diagnosed with Seasonal Affective Disorder, a few years ago, and weather is a big part of it. I do much better during sunny weather, when I can get out and sit under the blue sky. I am currently living in a basement apartment, and it's driving me nuts!! I need sunlight, just like plants do.
