Being a FL resident I've witnessed the rising waters and strong winds a hurricane can bring along with it. Being in the middle of Hurricane Season I ask myself are we really prepared. Is FEMA prepared. If a hurricane hit right now and destroyed parts of Florida would we suffer for a week like the Katrina victims? Did Katrina teach any of a real lessons. What changes have been made? And why did it take so long for relief to get to New Orleans anyway? The president has no problem getting troops over to middle east in a timely manner. Why did it take so long for fellow americans? What changes do you think should be made to better the response of FEMA?
