Refurbished Cell Phones

Has anyone out there had any experience with purchasing a "refurbished" cell phone? I'm considering getting a refurbished Blackberry, but I'm not sure if I should. The refurbished Blackberry comes with 90 day warranty whereas a new one has a year warranty. The refurbished one costs $50, but a new one will cost $315 up front but comes with a $100 mail-in rebate.

They make the refurbished cell phones into brand new condition, but they tend to wear out faster than brand new, but if you get one that cheap I say go for it, because you will get your money out of it !
