Do you believe that one group of people is better than the other group - meaning white people or black people?

No. I think all people are equal. The color of a person's skin does not make them better or lesser. The actions of a person, the way they treat other people, is what is important. I actually don't think anyone is better than anyone else - period.

You know what we all bleed red blood. To say one race is better than the other is called being Racist. Everyone has equal rights in the world today. My self I dont care if you are whitr , black, purple or green, you are a human and that is all that matters to me. We live in a society that still judges you by your color and ethlic background and I hate it. If everyone treated everyone else like humans and ignord the fact that we are diffrent colors and look diffrent everything would be fine.

This is so true! All blood is red. And we all bleed. Couldn't have said it better myself. And it occurs to me that if you get hurt and need a blood transfusion, they don't worry about which "race" you are, as long as the blood type matches!

White ....black. hahaha thats funny . I grew up bi-racial. native american and white. How bout red and white. No one race is better than the othere, We all have our strenghts and weeknesses. man.. woman. Young..old. black, white, red yellow....any shade under the sun. We all have something to contribute to each othere. Besides, GOD is our father....ALL of us..His creation. Like a many faceted High prized jewel on his crown. We all shine in our own way depending in how the light shines through you. My spelling sucks but ya get the idea. Oh! I'm white and native american...I date only Black women. Ok. mixed if your island exotic or middle easteran...Hee Hee.

I think that people are people. White and black doesn't matter. When you really think about it, we're not actually white and black anyway, are we? Lots of shades of beige, pink, brown, etc. (I for one am very pink in color I think it is shameful the racism that has existed in the past. I think it is also a little sad that some blacks choose to make themselves so separate. We will never be totally the same, but if we don't try to find our sameness, there will always be a divide.

But racism exists in the world we live in. Do you think it's better to just ignore it and pretend that it's not real? I can't see how that could help anyone. I hate racism. But it's all around me. I live in a multi-cultural neighborhood, which I love, because there is so much to do and see, so many different kinds of food, and interests, all wonderfully different types of people. I wouldn't live anywhere else. But the racism is here too, and that hurts everyone. I don't know any other way to try to reach people. If someone posts that they believe that one group is indeed better than another, I will try to start a gentle dialogue with them, to find out why the feel that way. Only love can change anything. But silence never will. This is just my opinion.

i thinks it great to talk about it.. get it out there talk about it and clear it up. we are different colors because we have different hertiages... there is nothing wrong with having differences.. if anything they should be celebrated

People are people. There are good and bad in all races. What I always teach my Kindergartens is that the only difference between people is the amount of melanin in their skin which was determined by where their ancestors came from.

Well, this certainly has the potential to be rather volatile. You're brave for posing a question like this. That said, I don't feel anyone is better than or inferior to anyone else based on skin color. It's your actions in life, not your appearance, that make you what you are.

I have to agree with you because I feel that its your actions that make you the person you are, not your race.

There is no way that color can affect the "goodness" of a person. People are taught to hate each other, and color is just the easiest thing to point out. More people should have read the Sneeches as kids!
