How safe do you as a person feel about terror? / myLot

I was at a state in my country and all of a sudden i saw how slack the security network was and i felt that its easy for "terrorist" to hit this place! Now you as aperson have you ever felt this way or how safe do you feel about terror?

I live in California. It's pretty much penetrable from the south or the west. Near LA, I might add. Our government has always been lax when enforcing defenses. Of course, they'll raise the terror alert today, then a week later say "don't worry, continue on with your lives." Terrorism, I think, is not a major problem. I think our government bloats the terrorism issue to justify the war (or raid, I should say)in Iraq.
