No Baby Toe Nails

All my life I have felt deformed because I have no nails on my baby toes. I even asked a doctor about it once and he said it was not a big deal. I was a child when I asked, so it didn't make much of a difference what the doctor said. Then about two weeks ago, I just happened to mention it to my aunt and she said, oh, I do not have any either. I felt so much better. Everyone I had told about it up until then, had never heard of such a thing. My aunt said that it is very common. She says people come in to get pedicures at the salon where she goes and they don't have baby toe nails either. I was relieved to know that not only was I not alone, but my aunt has the same thing. Is there anything that you share with a relative and you are relieved that you are not alone?

I have never heard of that before, but I have seen people with extremely tiny toenails before. I don't have anything particularily different about me except that I'm the only leftie in my whole family. It always made me stand out when I was younger. My sister and my grandma are the only blue-eyed people.

My great-nephew is the only one in my family and his father's family with hazel eyes. They change all the time. It is so weird, the father took one look at him and swears he is not his son.

My wife had no nails on her both hand's thumbs. But I still love her until now, and our daughter is normal. She is still normal until now and no effect on her health or kinda, she said it was from her birth. So, don't worry, at least you had someone who had going long with this condition.

No nails on her thumbs? Boy, that's a first there. I suppose I should stop complaining.

I have them, but.... they are so small that I barely have any on my baby toes. My ex hubby once got onto me for clipping them, he said, not the little ones, now it looks like you don't have any nails there. So I try to let them grown longer, but then they get to looking sort of weird. I'm glad you brought this up, I have always been self conscious of it too.
