Liking girls is natural in males, you need to discover why you don't like girls before you consider becoming a priest. The ban on Priests being married is a Catholic doctrine not a Christian one.

i agree with you, urbandekay, that to be liking girls is only natural for men. men were created that way. right from the very start, adam desired for the presence of a mate when there was none yet. and so, God gave adam his partner who was called eve. as we can see therefore, God has not banned any man against marriage. nonetheless, if we delve a deep study in the bible, it is said that those who do not get married and beget offsprings are doing better because, they are spared the problems of parenthood/responsibility in bringing forth a family and thus they can devote more of their time in the service of God. (this is the case of paul, the apostle who stayed single till his dying day). it is therefore very true that to stay unmarried among priests is a doctrine of the catholic cchurch and that it has not come from Jesus Christ. it is explicitly written in the bible also that, peter, the one Jesus Christ has chosen to be the head among all the apostles in israel, is a family man.

Re Peter, it is Jesus brother James (The Just) that is the head of the Church in Israel and it is to James that both Peter and Paul yield authority other a dispute regarding circumcision.

i will advise you against becoming a priest. there are so many ways of serving our God. to become a priest is not necessarily the best way to be of service to Him. the best way to be able to serve God will be to follow God's laws and to be able to use our free will at all times towards choosing the right thing to do. therefore, if we want to be truly of service to the Lord God, the Heavenly Father, do everything as your good dictates you to do. becoming a priest is none of them at all. vocations are only being taught to us that is why we have known about them. for those people who have never encountered teachings about vocations, entering into priesthood and/or becoming a nun, is never known unto them.

No of that matters. Are you a Catholic? Do you feel you are being called to preach the word?Do you want to help people feel closer to G-d? If you can answer yes to All these questions then you are a good candidate for the priesthood.

It depends on your calling, if your heart feel happy being a priest and the ministry, perhaps you can be one. God be the way!

Well, if you think you have that calling to be the servant of our saviour in that way go on. Its only can decide about it people around can only give their own opinion and ideas in that matter, but the best decision is in you. Are you willing to sacrifice for your personal needs? Not liking girls or not having girlfriends doenst mean that you need to be a priest or you have to be a priest, true love will come in the right time. But being a servant of God is a big decision that human will be willing to sacrifice their needs in so many terms.
Well think about it a million times and pray for your decision, its a lifetime commitment and you need to be faithful to the vocation you will chose in the future.

yes becoming priest is one of the option but you can also go to other vocation that relationship will not be a problem.srve your country be a soldier, be a very working man you dont require woamn if you dont want too.the point is, its your life and its your choice my men no problem some guys dont marry at all and live this life happily.its up to you.

I think there's so much more to being a priest than just not liking girls. I think you have to have a real calling to serve God in your religion. And if you don't have any desire for an intimate relationship - with anyone - that's okay, too. You can do whatever you want to do. Just as some people are natural mothers, or fathers, or need an intimate relationship with someone, I believe some people are also naturally more inclined to be alone. As long as you're happy, you can be alone and not be lonely, or unhappy, or unhealthy.
