my daughter today sang the national anthem. and it really makes me smile every time i think about how hard she tried to memorize the song even though nobody is forcing her to. we live across the elementary public school and every morning when the children sing the national anthem she would hear it and would sing along with them.

it's a proud moment for every mom whenever your child accomplishes something that might have been so trivial to any adult but you know took so much effort on the child's part. yes, i understand the feeling. i have 6 kids of my own and as different as they are from each other, all of them have always given me many reasons to be proud.:)
