how many of you have servants?

I ask this because in my last discussion i made alot of people suggested I get a servant.. Really people I don't mind doing it but a little help would be great.. So how many people here on mylot have a servant to do your house work for you? And would you ever consider one? Me no!

That's a good thing... When growing up I helped my mom alot too and we got things down, Of course I had plenty of sisters to help as well so things had gotten done faster.. I was always taught to do things for myself and not let others help me, Well of course except for family members! Thanks for your reply!

Boy, wouldn't that be nice to be able to afford a servant~LOL! Not me, I am the servant in this house:) That is why it is so important to have the family help out with keeping the house in order.

I know it would be but even I can't afford that.. And your right family help is very important.. Oh my son said last night to my husband when he asked him to get something.. Dad I'm not your servant mom is.. I looked at my son and said I'm not one servant I'm your mom and I'm his wife.. My son giggled at me, The thing he knows what it means and he's only 8... It's amazing how kids that age know the meaning of such words.. Thanks for your reply!

hi wisconsin26,I donot hink we need a servant at all.
We are a small family of three persons, me ,my wife and a son. My wife stays at home, she do most of work at home even I and my son also helps her in work.we all can share work together and i don't think we ever need a servant to work at our house.

I agree that's the same with my family it's small only me, my better half and my son... As long as WE all pich in to help each other things will get done.. Though that's not my case... But a servant isn't right for me anyway.. Thanks for your reply!

LOL. No servants for me! I would love to have a few. One could clean, one could cook, one could drive me around. But the reality is, I never had any help doing anything. No nannies, no cleaning ladies, nothing. I am a middle class average person and can't afford such things and, even when I could when I was making big money, I never considered it. I just did my own thing although at one point it crossed my mind to get a little help in the house since I was so busy and traveled so much. But we got by fine and now, I am back to being middle class, just making it with a little extra and will never have a servant.
I don't even really like the word actually. Maybe if I hit the lottery, I would hire someone to help me keep the house clean Not a servant, just a helper.

I thought the same thing.... If I ever did I'd be like really moody I mean cause me too I do things my own way and if I were to have servant come in and clean my house and me not be able to find anything, oh boy that wouldn't be something I'd like very much.. For me to do my own things I know I'd be able to at least find them... Thanks for the reply!
