Cheapest way to book travel?

What is the way you save the most when booking travel plans? Do you do it online, through an agent, call someplace? How do you make sure you're getting the best price? For me, I haven't traveled in a while but I will soon have to vist family due to illness. I have booked travel for a friend a few times though using My Power Mall (http://shop2earn.cjb.net if you want to try it out) and got her pretty good deals for a few last minute romantic weekend vacations she's taken with her boyfriend. The best part is that I get the rebate check for her travel! I'm thinking I'll use My Power Mall for when I have to travel soon so that way not only will I get a discount but earn a rebate on it too. Keeping my options open though to a cheaper way if there is one.

To me the best way the book for travel is online, you can check many varieties... many choices, and sometimes you can get really good deals!

Hun does all of his travel booking online, but he 'shops' until he finds the best deal... it surprises me, because he used to just take the first one. Then he had a $250 'burn', and learned how to bargain hunt!
