Do you thnk any1 can overtake Bill Gates in becoming the world's richest person?

Why not you, darshakk? I give you about 30 years, and one day I'll be reading about you being the richest person in the world.

Bill Gats has already been overtaken as the world's richest man by Carlos Slim Helu.... In the future it will probably be Mukesh Ambani (Indian) whose wealth has doubled to close to 50 billion dollars in the last couple of years because the share price of his company doubled also. Given the massive gains in the Indian stock market month on month I would not be surprised if it is an Indian that takes the title sooner rather than later..... Quite ironic really when you consider the level of poverty in parts of India.

From what I read the other day, someone already is richer than Bill Gates. No matter how much money you have, someone will always come along to knock you out of your spot eventually. I still would not mind have a third of what Bill Gates has though.

Bill Gates may not be the richest man in the world. Bill Gates, Carlos Slim Helú, and Warren Buffett are almost equally rich. Although I think Bill Gates' fortune is slightly higher than the other two, in a year or three it's difficult to say who will become the richest in the world.
