She is 19 weeks, baby A is measuring 10 ounces and baby B is measuring 9 ounces. Baby B amniotic fluid is lower than Baby A but could be based on the size of babies. This is the firrst ultrasound taht baby B has been smaller than Baby A, the last two to three ultrrasounds both babies werre measuring at exact same measurements and the first measuremant at 9 weeks, baby A was smaller by about 4 days then baby B.
She is nervous about Twin to twin transfusion but has not been diagnosed with that at this point.
Anyone get this tpe of scare and in the end at the following week ultrasound smaller baby caught up with bigger baby?
Thanks

nope havent experience having a twin babies, and hoping to have one but cant..yeah it could be scary maybe since we cant tell what will happen if one is bigger than the other..but maybe you should ask the doctor on what is the implication on that scenario..good luck then..

she has talked with the doctor and her father in law to be is also an OBGYN retired. He has calmed her down quite a bit. She knows that the chances of it being twin to twin transfusion is like only 15%, but it just was a bit nervewrecking for her as it would be for anyone who is considered high risk.
Thanks though,
