I haven't been in Paris! But when you ask me if i would consider it as a romantic place, I would quickly agree! That's because I've seen Paris in romantic movies and the i think the place have the ambiance of tranquility and subtlety! I think it has a quite laid back environment, full of music, art and sunset. Those were what i imagine when i think of Paris. Plus! i love the language, French! Don't you find it pleasing to the ears like music? lolz. Sooo, i really dreamed that one day i could visit Paris and find my love there! lolz. So guys, what do you think of Paris? DO you also find the place romantic just like i do? If so, what do you think makes it romantic? Share your thoughts.

Hi Livvy092002, to tell you the truth as I see it - Paris a romantic city is simply a suggestion. Nothing more and nothing less really. I've been there many times, and have to tell you that the only romantic part of the city is the center of it, and not all the center, but a few spots. And why? Because, as you've said - many, many movies have been made in Paris, and especially love once, and there it is - Paris - a Romantic city. It was not romantic when I was there in my teens together with my parents. It was not romantic when I went there with a school trip, and when I was there with a group of GF's in my twenties. It was romantic when I was there with a lover, and later with my partner. It has to do with whom, you are there, where you'll be staying, and the relationship, + weather, + feelings makes all the romance you'll be feeling :) I also prefer much more Venice as THE Romantic city, and the Italian the real music language, more beautiful than French for me. However this is personal preference I think, and we all have our taste :) TheFortunes
