What makes Paris a romantic place?

Hi Livvy092002, to tell you the truth as I see it - Paris a romantic city is simply a suggestion. Nothing more and nothing less really. I've been there many times, and have to tell you that the only romantic part of the city is the center of it, and not all the center, but a few spots. And why? Because, as you've said - many, many movies have been made in Paris, and especially love once, and there it is - Paris - a Romantic city. It was not romantic when I was there in my teens together with my parents. It was not romantic when I went there with a school trip, and when I was there with a group of GF's in my twenties. It was romantic when I was there with a lover, and later with my partner. It has to do with whom, you are there, where you'll be staying, and the relationship, + weather, + feelings makes all the romance you'll be feeling :) I also prefer much more Venice as THE Romantic city, and the Italian the real music language, more beautiful than French for me. However this is personal preference I think, and we all have our taste :) TheFortunes

i always love to go to paris, that's my life long dream. i also want to discover how beautiful and splendid the place. many people linked paris to romance and i think its because the place is wonderfully romantic, the atmosphere. and of course parisians are known to be passionate lovers.
