Anyone ever tried Herbalite (think that is the name)? Are there any products that actually do assist or help? I would not take something that would interfere with my medications. Maybe there is a low carb, high protein snack?? Thanks

I think if you are wanting to name some sort of pills to help you lose weight you should go and talk to your doctor. He/she might even be able to prescribe you something too. Other than that I would say elimatinate all sodas and most everything else. I would stick with drinking mostly water and some juices. Or green tea. That's suppose to really help as well. But just drinking water (or at the very least 8-10 glasses a day) will really shed some pounds. You'll loose most if not all your water weight (which we've all got LOL) by just drinking water within one week. Snacks I'm unsure of other than just eating veggies and fruits as snacks. Good luck sweetie! My hubby and I have decieded it's time to go on a diet as well. Nothing major but we're adding a few pounds and we as individuals (we both think each other look great) are afraid of it getting out of control. As we are a bit lazy and love the snack foods LOL.

Thanks! My husband and I went on the South BEach Diet a few years ago and we both lost...it is great. I'm thinking about doing it again ...the first 10-14 days were hard but, after that it got easier....I fell off the low carb, and sugar truck and regained weight :(

You're very welcome :) Its so easy to get off track! There are so many yummy, convient, and inexpensive foods that are SO bad for you. I've never tried the south beach diet though. So it worked well?

If you mean herballife, I attended one of their seminars and thing that I understood is that they give you a protien and vitamin rich drink for dinner and you are supposed to sklip dinner. That drink keeps your fit as you do get your essential nutirents but you miss dinner time fat that you may have taken. Its going to work as long as you keep excersising and follow their instructions. I would advice against it though as if you lapse your fat comes back, one of my friend did put on the weight back after her old habits took over, its better if you adapt a healthy life style instead of going for such shortcuts. My hubby lost 25Kgs by doing just that, eating a fixed quantity and excersising. I am still trying though.
