I hate my job!

I just returned to work today after being off for 6 weeks due to having a hysterectomy. I knew before that I really didn't like my job, but after today I have concluded that I truely HATE it! I work as an inspector for a company that manufactures drill pipe (for oil rigs) and drill pipe accessories. I have been there for 3 years and am considered one of their best inspectors, yet they treat me like crap (I'm not the only one though). KNOWING that I haven't worked in 6 weeks and am no longer use to the long hours (12) on my feet in steel toed boots, they make me work the fastest running line BY MY SELF (they said it was because after 6 weeks at home I should be REALLY rested!). For the past 6 weeks I haven't been allowed to lift anything over 20lbs and so I have gotten abit weaker than I was but had to use an end drift weighing 26lbs to drift all of the 120 pipe that I inspected today!! The air conditioner in my booth wasn't working properly and so at 8am this morning I was sweating like a stuck pig! I called my supervisor about the AC and he said he would see if he could get someone to come down to look at it (no one ever came and he wouldn't answer any more of my calls). Oh, and at our 7am meeting, they informed us that corprate has decided that we will be working 7 days a week until the end of the year! They complain about people calling in sick all the time and how we never can keep enough people around (they quit!, and that we are having WAY too many accidents...what do they expect when they treat us like animals and work us like machines. And see that is another problem....the reason that we are working 7 days a week until the end of the year is because we are so far behind on our quota. We are behind on our quota because the machinery keeps breaking down! They don't believe in preventitive maintainence. If something breaks down, the rig it to work for the time being and then sit back and wait for it to braek AGAIN! Most of our welding machines have serious oil leaks and continously burn up the motor, but instead of taking the welder out of commission so that it can be rebuilt and the oil leak stopped, they just stick another (old, used, screwed up) motor in it! I really wish that I could quit but I know that I can't because I have children to support (ex husband doesn't pay child support). Please pray for me that I can last at this job for just 6 years more, that's when my youngest child turns 18!
