Smile does'nt require any special day or occession, that i believe. The smile knows no politics, no geography and no religion. Smile everyday of the year and give the reason to others to smile with you.
Now-a-days we people are so busy that we have hardly any time to laugh also. For that reason today many of the people intentionally join laughing clubs to retain their health and mind fresh forever. So every year we should particularize a day to celebrate by laughing only.
As is well known, a commercial artist from Worcester, Massachusetts created the smiley face in 1963. That image went on to become the most recognizable symbol
of good will and good cheer on the planet.

Yes, an act of kindness, whether how small or big is indeed sends a smile into one's face. Being kind is very fulfilling. And if you are the one who was shown with kindness, you can not help but feel grateful and shows it in your face through smiling. People are lucky if they recieve kindness from people around them. Because not all has the ability to do so.

I think the world needs to smile more often. Because they dont smile that much. When Im out in a store shopping I will smile at people. Or if Im walking down the street I will smile at people. Hey keep smiling.LOL

I always treat the day positive, whatever it brings upon me. There are times that I even see myself simply smiling, but with nothing to smile about. So I think it's natural for us to stretch our facial muscles, to spread the positive thoughts and hope that we can always influence others to be like it!;)

I have worked in retail for about 6 yrs probably more. I know how hard these people work so I always try to smile at those who are ringing me up or helping me. I also smile at strangers, those who look like they need it. Needless to say most dont smile back. Usually I get a look of WHAT? you know not happiness. All the more reason to smile. I try to sometimes hold doors, pick up people change when it falls. If someone gives me too much cash at work to pay I give back what they shouldnt have given. I turn in lost items.I am a person who trys to be kind. As a christian the best example of Christ to some is ME. So I do it out of the kindness of my heart and as to be a good example of Christ to those around me.

Hey I like that. A smile also takes the use of less muscles that to frown.
I remember my mother telling me to "smile at the world and the world will smile back at you". She is like that never frowning or quarrelsome. As a matter of fact I think she is the one I get the love ot laugh attitude from.

I always smile. I learned to smile more at total strangers once I sobered up etc. I now smile at strangers and get a huge kick out of dseeing them smile back. It's amazing what a small gesture like a smile can do to one thats down in the dumps etc. Smile and make someone else smile I say. Thanks for a nice discussions as well.

Whenever I pass someone in the street or store I always smile. More times than not the person will smile back. I hope they pass this smile on to the next person they meet or to their family. I think it is important to smile at people, it makes them feel good and you have a nice feeling inside! keep on smiling!!!! ;)

smile is the language of hearts. it is noticable that innoscence triumphants over your ignorance or illiteracy and smile is an innoscent part of your character.its a language which is not relying on any communication language developed by man.its just felt.hence its unique.
Like the prayer is the door to reach directly into Gods heart, smile is the way to reach and talk with any mortal heart irrespective of its being.
