How do you say your prayers? I dont mean reading from any holy book.To me praying is actually talking to God.Do you thank god for whatever you have or do you ask for favours?Do you pray everyday or only when you feel the need to?

Hello there. I will pray every night after reading my bible. My prayer include thanking God for everything He has done in my life. I will also pray for my family and friends who are in need of prayers. Lastly, I will pray about certain needs in my life. Though at times it may seem that God is not listening, I believe He is.

I pray every day. Prayer is our way to talk to God. And we should talk to God on a daily basis. I always thank Him for being here for me. For giving me a way to be forgiven. I tell him how I am feeling. I come to Him with my fears, pains and problems. I ask Him for guidance in all I do. I ask Him to watch over my loved ones. God is the one person I can tell everything and anything to.

I essentially "pray" to my various Gods all day long, every day. It's like an ongoing conversation, and it never really stops unless I am doing something I have to really focus on. Most of it is just commentary about things going on in my life. "Look at my beautiful son and how he's spitting his food everywhere, he's so perfect and such a challenge and thank you Gods." =P I've always been like that. I don't speak very formally to the Gods I follow, because they don't speak very formally to me. We just kind of talk, all day long. Which God I talk to more would depend on my mood and what's going on in my life I suppose, but I speak to many of the Gods every day. I've been told I'm too religious, that I'm not grounded in the physical world well enough and I should be a little LESS religious. But I can't imagine not speaking to my Gods as much as I do, because they are like beloved family members to me.

When I was young, I did pray lots of memorized prayers, like Our Father, Angels prayer etc... But as I grows old I learned that prayer is more of a communication and relationship with someone unseen and believing by faith that He answers it without reservation. And I do pray daily or I may say have a communication with Him daily.

Hi!markgadiano When we say memorized prayers its just a ritual we've been taught to do.I dont know how many of us really understand what we say. This communication is a better way, I guess as we grow older we realise that.God Bless.
