As we all know, 'ps' is short for postscript, with the meaning that a short addition to a letter, below the place where one has signed one's name. what do you think of it? I like ps very much. ps is not in the straight matter but below it. So there is no restrictions of grammer or syntax, you should say what you think at ease. Just because of the random, it can express the writer's meaning well. I use ps frequentlly and it really can make the communications with my friends genuine. For example: ps: It is 3 pm of 10 1st,2007, what are you doing? Can you guess what i am doing? certainly, i am writting to you! ps again: I met a girl in the same clothes as yours, It reminded me of you. I miss you so much. ps again and again: Have you seen the cute photo of me? I took it last sunday in the park near our school. ... what about you? do you like it and use it?

hello chym. on the "ps" use, i normally use this for mostly informal (personal) letters to family and friends. but now that we use email, i am a bit relax to make use even on letters to clients. it seems acceptable now. thanks. and i wish you the best....perry

Yes, I also use it a lot. I sometimes use pps, ppps, pppps (post-postscript, post-post-postscript etc.) and so on if I got a lot of things to say after a letter is finished :) ("post" means "after" in Latin, "postscript" means "after writing", so "post-postscript" would mean "after after-writing" :) )
