Are you a java beginner? Or have you done java before. If you're a beginner, try the tutorial in java.sun.com. They have pretty good tutorials. Just look for tutorial, and then java SE tutorial. That should start you up very nicely

I started from learning Java: How To Program from Deitel. It is a good book. You have to learn at least basic of OOP programming first. you can download it at www.flazx.com
