Is Friday Night Football a big deal where you live? Here high school football the THE thing!!! You go out and root for the home town team. I'm not really a football fan myself and don't actually go to the games, so I've discovered that's a great time to go out and eat because all of the best eating places are deserted during that time. Our team has been state champion two years running and have been state runners up for years though -- maybe that's why it's taken so seriously? I just wondered if high school football is big other places?

High school football is very popular here and the games usually have lots of people attending them. It is very big in Texas as you should see how big the stadiums are for high school games. They take it pretty seriously there. I always keep up with how my high school is doing in football and other sports.

Yes it is--- My family goes to almost every home game- I have a 10 year old daughter-- My sig. other was one of the better players when he was in school. It's all about town togetherness... The stands are filled with kids in school now as well as all of alumni-- Its great fun-- Alot of my friends who live in other towns come back for the homecoming game each year! It's a great way to catch up with old friends.
