So, has everyone heard of the new Zeno acne machine? It is a machine that is supposed to get rid of pimples. For anyone who hasn't heard of it before, here is the official description:"Zeno is a hand-held battery-operated device designed with a tip that heats to a pre-set temperature.  The biocompatible tip is designed for direct contact with a blemish on the skin.  Once in contact with a blemish, the tip will transfer heat into the follicle.  An internal PID controller chip continually modulates the temperature to a fixed range even under different skin and circulation conditions by adjusting the flow of energy to match precisely the heat absorption of the individual user.  Zeno’s microprocessor adapts not only to your individual skin type but also to the heat absorption characteristics of the location of the pimple. Your Zeno adapts to you!  An integral digital timer controls the treatment time.  The level of heat does not cause skin damage. Specifically, Zeno stimulates a heat-shock response in p. acnes, the bacteria causing at least 90% of all acne blemishes. Heat shock proteins, activated by bacterial cells under heat stress, cause the self-destruction of p. acnes within the lesion, reducing inflammation and allowing the skin to return to a healthy state."This product retails online for around $150.00. I want to hear from anyone who has tried it or heard from someone hwo has. Does it really work? Is it really worth $150? Tell me your experiences with Zeno.

Hi Nykkee, my daughter read about it, but we can't afford that price. Online someone told her that what he did was take something metal, (I guess a spoon or something), and point a hair blow dryer at it until it gets hot and place it on the pimple. He said it works and my daughter is in the process of trying it..I will let you know if it works..:)

I hope that works! If it does I def. want to try it. I don't want to spend 150 bucks either, but I def. want to rid myself of blemishes! PLease, let us now how it goes right away! =P Is this zeno thing suppose to wrok instantly then? What about the hot spoon thing, that work instantly too?

This is the exact copy of the e-mail my daughter got. Unfortunately she procrastinates, so if you really want to know how soon it works, you will have to experiment yourself.. (BTW, if you find out, let me know..) well, I took the idea and I tried to do something like it myself at home, and it seems to be working! I took something metal and blew on it w/ a hairdryer. When it got hot, I put it gently over my pimple, and I reheat when it cools down. Repeated 3 times. The pimple seems to go down a lot faster. Don't burn the metal thing with fire though, b/c it gets too hot. Only use a hairdryer. Try it and let me know how it goes.

Zeno Machine - This is a pictre of the Zeno machine, that claims to get rid of pimples within 48 hours.
I don't know about a hot spoon.....I would want someone else to try it and let me know first. I have used just a hair dryer to blow hot air on my face before to try to help dry out a pimple, but I'd be afriad of burning myself with a hot spoon.
