Usually to create or design website i use several software to support my work such as Corel Draw to make the prototype of design of the website, adobe photoshop for image manipulation and also image optimalization, Macromedia Dreamweaver for the web editor itself, macromedia flash to create interactive menu and also banner for client that want to be sponsor, to make the website dunamic, usually i use the ASP script and Microsoft Access or Microsoft SQL Server as the database.

My apologies , I created a similiar post before I read this one... I am relatively new to the world of webdesign and have only created 8 small prodjects at the moment. I myself prefer to use code ONLY and use Komodo as my "notepad". I found I use a lot of photoshop and design from templates as I find they give a very professionally finished look. I do not exactly copy the template as is, but use "snippets" from there designs. I would however like to start using a little flash in my sites but have never really got around to using or understanding it. But I hopefully will expand my knowledge of design soon. PHP is my next step of learning though.

I'm familiar with all those programs, but I have to say, I prefer to just code my website myself, from scratch, rather than use all these excess programs, it's just a waste of my computer's memory, if you ask me. (Not that you did.)

I know how to use Dreamweaver and Photoshop but I don't design my own sites, I tried but I feel I'm not really artistic enough to come up with a great looking site so I'd just rather use free website templates, I'm more into buiding contents anyways. Best of luck to you :)
