If I wanted to learn Chinese Language on line or by any other means without going to China, how would I go about it? You see, I believe that China is going to rule the world very soon, they are especially sparking off a modern day scramble for Africa and In Sudan where they have a sphere of influence, many University students who have learnt Chinese are quickly recruited as translators with Powerful Chinese OIL companies in that country and they earn a lot of money-my country is not far from Sudan hence i want to learn Chinese very fast-How fast can I do it?

Hello academic friend. I am glad to know that you are starting to show interest in learning Chinese. Once my foreign friend was learning Chinese online, but I have no idea which website it is. I think that you can get to know the website if you search for it. But still I think that the best way to learn to speak or write Chinese is to go to some language school to learn it as it will be much easier for you to learn it this way. Many of my foreign colleagues are learning Chinese and some of them have even learnt Chinese in their own country before they came to China to work. Of course, if you want to learn Chinese for free, the best way is to get a teaching job in China so that you have more chances to get in touch with the language.

Hello academic friend. Chinese is said to be one of the most difficult languages to learn, but we have many foreigners who work in China can speak Chinese so well. Some even speak much better than Chinese and some are working for Chinese CCTV channels like Dashan, who host an English program and also speaks a lot of Chinese, very standard Chinese and he has been in China for many years and he has got a Chinese wife. He is from Canada and has very good sense of humor as well. Every year when we have the Spring Festival, he will be sure to perform on the stage. He is famous all over China. He is one example that I have given here. Of course there are some others who can speak excellent Chinses as well. I think that you can learn it well if you put your heart into the language. have fun learning Chinese, dear academic friend. By the way, thanks for the BR.

the fastest way to learn any language is to talk to someone who speaks it..who's a native to it or even someone who just know it..that's the only sure way to learn fast..converse.. because even if you enroll online or do your own study or enroll in a language school if you dont practice it, you will rust..it will definitely fade...you will forget the meaning of words..so find a study partner or really someone who speaks the language..tell him or her to speak to you every time even if you dont understand..and tell him or her to be patient with you..coz im sure every time you talk with him, you'll ask what that means..hehehe ganbarimasu (goodluck in japs)!!

Hello.I am a Chinese boy and I feel very happy that you are interesting in learning Chinese.Maybe I can help you. Listening, speaking, reading and writing are important for learning every language including Chinese. Then you can make friends who can speaking Chinese well or come from China. And when you have learned more about the culture and history of China, you will not say "China is going to rule the world". Good luck for you learning Chinese.

i think it is very difficult to learn any language properly unless you have interaction with people who speak that language. that means that either you have to have people in sudan that you can speak to on a regular basis or you have to immerse yourself in china. im sure you can learn the basics on your own, but that's about as far as it will go. who knows, maybe if you're really dedicated it will happen otherwise, but i doubt it. you need to interact with other people to learn the pronunciation and grammar and street language. sometimes what you read in language-learning books is not actually how the people speak it!

Hi there, I'm so glad to know that you are interested in learning chinese. I think chinese is hard to learn, even though i am chinese. There is no any good way to learn a language fast. But i can give you an advice to learn it for free. You can make a friend with a chinese person online. Then you can use online to talk with him or her. Then the chinese friend can teach you chinese about how to pronouce it or make sentences, or tell you some chinese thoughts, history. Then you can learn chinese a bit fast. Or you can find the chinese who is around you and he/she is willing to teach you chinese. These are good ways to learn chinese and don't need to pay any money. Hope it is useful for you. Good luck

You can buy some DVD with Pinyin( ??) , Pinyin is very important just like phonetic symbol for English. Then try to learn some Chinese Characters. But the best is try to speak up, just like we Chinese learn English, it is nothing without spoken. You can register a SKYPE to try to find some Chinese, It is perfect to help eatch other. I have a friend , she is a house wife with lots of freet time, if you want to learn Chinese with her, I would give you some her information, but first I need to check if she has SKYPE now. Please? One more thing, China is not going to rule the world , just an important member in U.N, as the rest of countries in the world. Good luck with your Chinese.
