Just been thinking mylotters, I know you hve heard of or even lost some one you know to suicide. I lost my step mother many years a go. At High school, i also lost a a very close firend who only informed me about his plight when he had taken 50 tablets of chloroquine-i tried to talk to him but he said with dry laughter that He was on his death bed and he died 30 minutes later- How can we detect suicidal signals and how can we help such a person?

I would tell him/her that there's always a positive side, if only we choose to see it. Take this for example: A woman is left by her boyfriend for another woman. So as it turns out the man is a pig. Now she's free to find a better man. So why should she kill herself? She should be happy!

Signs come in many forms. As many would say, depression sets in first. However there are other signs like extreme happiness, anger or even no signs observable at all. However, if you know the person well enough, you will be able to notice the difference in him/her. Show care and interest when you do notice the slightest difference.
