Cooking With Wine

I had never tried to cook anything with wine until about 12 years ago. I watch a lot of cooking shows on TV, and most of them contain at least one recipe that uses wine. I decided to do some experimenting with wine cookery, and got great results. My first effort was a small roast with a wine sauce. It turned out amazingly well, and I began making lots of dishes using wine. I have not made anything containing wine in a few years now, but I think I will buy some soon and try another recipe that I have in mind. Do you use wine in recipes?
