Which monitor is best? CRT or LCD?

LCD Monitor - which one is best? LCD or CRT?

i'm using CRT monitor[samsung syncmaster 793s] (PC use). my eyes get pained after 3/4 hrs of continuous seeing. i'm a web developer, s/w developer. so i need to work with PC always. suddenly i got one question. which kind of monitor is best? CRT or LCD? which damages/spoils our health?

I am using a samsung 15" synchmaster 540N. I like it! It has good color with less radiation. It never hurts my eyes even if I stayed long in front of the PC. Even though it's a little bit expensive compared to the CRT. The technician who installed it told me it can help save electric bill because it consumes less power compared to the CRT. If you can afford it, go with the LCD, it's a good investment.
