Wedding Proposal

I have seen a couple of them only in movies. How was your unforgetable wedding proposal like? Did it take a couple of times till you can get a yes or did you have problems in setting up the mood? If you are not yet married, how would you like the proposal to be like and from whom?

Hey what a coincidence! Wedding proposal.. I was actually thinking of the same exact topic to start a discussion. anyway since you're my friend i'll just end up responding here.lol.. one option of how i wanted him to do it is by hiding a really expensive diamond ring in a bowl of double dutch ice cream. i love double dutch!i just hope i don't swallow the ring. I think it's romantic and fun when you find a surprise in your food. It's just like finding a free toy in your bag of cereals. A diamond ring from the man you love is just splendid..

I appreciate the fact that people still want to get involved in commitment even though there are a lot of experiences out there that just don't work out.
The thing is that you might swallow the ring before even finding it. That will be a surprise. 8-)

I said yes at once. We were listening to Floyd Cramer and he said, "We should get married," and I said, okay. He had to ask my father officially for my hand in marriage (and the other part too( and my father was so glad. So what you do is to have the Cd player or in our case, it was the record player, low lights, and a comfortable couch. That will do it. I guess with a lot of people living together, not many people know about proposals nowadays. It is so sad.
