Is Bigger Beautiful?

I can't remember the last time I saw a chubby woman on the tele that everyone around me wasn't calling names. Considering we're a society fighting obesity recently, does that mean that all the skinny people are on our tv sets rather than walking our streets? I agree I have fallen into the trap of being attracted to really skinny women, but I can't remember this happening? I've lost a bit of weight myself recently and my family are all concerned, but I think I'm still chubby myself even tho I'm a size 10. I don't look at myself and want to be like other people consciously but is this the way forward? Are the women around us going to get thinner and thinner and where are we going to draw the line? Size 0 is in at the moment and the media seem to be doing all they can do to prove this is not healthy penalising people like Victoria Beckham and Nicole Richie. Top Designers are also adhering to this by removing size 0 models from their catwalk shows, but the women I am watching in films and on tv series are still really thin! What's going on and what do you think? Are love handles still attractive? Or are skin and bones what we want?

It depends how big you are ! Big with healthy, active - is beautiful. However too big (overweight) is not good and not beautiful. To me I'm big and I know I'm beautiful the way I am (:), I don't like thin and too thin. It is hurt when I touch thin people, because too much of bone out of meat (;). Even the model I don't like to see thin model because no point for me to see it, I can not wear the clothes that she wears. It is too small for me! So no point!

My mom always said that skinny may be in but fat is where its at. The skinny people that we see on TV may be skinny but they are in bad health, I would rather be a bit of meat on my bones then skinny and sick looking. I agree with you that Big is Beautiful.
