i was walking in a busy city one day and just around the corner of this city where big/tall buildings are located are many beggars residing. hands asking for small alms. i envy singapore because you cannot see things like this around their country. they have this house where street people could stay.

It is illegal in our country to ask for alms. We are educated to understand that an able bodied person have the means to earn a decent living and yes in most countries there are social welfare rendering help to low income families.
