Have you ever listen someone saying: "I'm fat"?

Everyboby, mainly girls, use to say they are fat, even if they are as thin as a skinny pencil… I think that this is related to culture and society generalized thinking, I mean, all of these girls want to be the same size as the models or they fell that if they are not thin they will be socially rejected. The girl can be as thin as possible and she thinks she is fat. Have you ever listen someone saying: "I'm fat"?

I tend to get angry at those skinny girls that say they are fat. =p The thing that especially bothers me is the people that weigh at least 30 pounds or so less than I do, who will say they are fat. And then, if I say something about my own weight, they'll say "Oh you're not fat." Hello? Anyone home in there? I realize these people are just trying to be nice, but they are also being stupid. If you're going to say you are fat, you ARE automatically implying that everyone bigger than you is also fat. There's really no way around that. Lying about it just makes you look stupid. What also bothers me is the people in those commercials for weight loss, who looked very attractive in the before photos, and like walking skeletons in the after photos.

I was at a dinner party tonight with four women (and several men, husbands etc.) and ALL of us women said we were fat. I listen to myself say it all the time when I really am not fat at all but I still am not happy with my body and probably never will be. The other women all complained of being fat, not being able to lose weight, etc. I honestly think TV, magazines, movies etc. make us think we are fat even when we are thin. I look at the skinny actresses and think wow, I'm size 3, they must be wearing kid's clothes! But I don't want to lose weight, just get more toned. So yes, I have listened endlessly to people saying they were fat. Me being one and just about every woman I know being the others. Oddly, the men there, two of whom really were FAT, never thought twice about ordering the banana splits and deserts while we just ate the fresh fruit cup. *sigh*
