which do you prefer....to have a big family or a small one

Prior to 1960, most couples wanted many children to take care of their household as well as their occupational works viz., Agriculture, horticulture, carpentry, workshop etc.Of late people are educated, and less and less people are concentrating on these jobs and most of them are migrating to cities and towns. These people are already aware that the cost of living is very high and finding a seat in school is also difficult. Therefore they limit their household population to 1 or two. I feel that is good, particularly in Inida, there is population explosion. In coutnries like Australia or Sweden, they need people to produce more and more (procreation).

Of course the big family,big family will have more laughter,more vitality.And the children have brother and sister so they won't feel boring,they will have partners.And know how to share with others,you know,parents who always dote on their only child,so child will have some bad habits such as selffish,unreasonable,etc.

I came from a not so big family, I ahve 3 other siblings and honestly we were just poor, dad was a carpenter and mom helps by doing some farm works..good thing we made it through and we have a more better life now. It made me decide to have a small family of my own too,like 2 kids ould be okay for me, I want ot give them the best of everything and if I would have many kids I won't be able to give them all a good life.

it is hard to choose.and both have its advantages and disadvantages.nowadays,in china,since one child one family policy has carried out for many years. big families are discreasing.our family is not very big,on holidays,my sister and i would go home together with our families.that is 8 people in total.it is very warm and happy time for us.
