How do you celebrate Nov. 1 and 2, or the days of the dead. Here in our place Nov. 1 is being declared a holiday. Most of the people in the city goes home to their provinces and cities and offered flowers and candles to the tomb of their beloved parents, relatives and friends. There are some parties going in some tombs to celebrate their meetings to their love ones 6 feet under the ground. They bring in flowers, yes fresh flowers and some fake ones and candles keep burning on. There are masses, prayers offered for the beloved dead. This also served as a reunion to the family members as each one of them usually goes home to their beloved birth place. What do you do on this day and how do you celebrate it.

Normally we don't celebrate this the way we did when we were kids. We used to make Soul Cakes for Halloween and then slightly different ones for All Souls Day. It seems like traditions like this are falling by the way side.
