my son is now 1 year, 8 months old and i bottle feed as well as breastfeed him. the thing is i am now suffering from colds and cough for a few days now. my son would not sleep and would not stop crying if i don't breastfeed him before going to sleep. i haven't taken any medicine for my colds and cough since i'm not really sure if that would just be okay since i am breastfeeding him. is it okay to breastfeed even if you have colds, cough or even fever? also is it okay to breastfeed even if you are taking medicines for colds, cough and fever?

Definately continue! It helps your child build immunities that he otherwise wouldn't have had a chance to develope. If you feel like you need to take something then Tylenol is a good choice. Just nothing with aspirin in it!! That could be dangerous.
