Canada is a very large and beautiful country but... supposed to be Bilingual!
* And, in Quebec province specially, on east side of Canada, we speak FRENCH and not many are bilingual, or able to talk with some english language!
Before to decide to travel in Quebec, did you know about our French Culture, fully, completly, carefully protected here? ...and maybe you can get some problems if you are anglophones passing in some areas french speaking only?
Welcome! BIENVENUE!

I've heard that. When I watched one of Celine Dion's concert, she mentioned that people in Quebec speak French. Celine even sang a French song.

I visited Toronto several years ago. I found it a lovely place. Then I realized most things were in French. I had to suddenly remember my high school and college french lessons. I also had to try to remember that the temperatures wer in celsius so I had a problem trying to figure out what the temperature was. Then I turned on the tv and saw Canadian football in French. What a fun time.
