Why is it so common to religionists to try to persuade others to join them?

It's all about approach. If you think someone is trying to persuade you.... then that is your approach. All anyone can do....is control one's self. If you feel someone is indifferent to you....again...that is your approach. Perhaps the person whom is indifferent to you...realizes that you are not interested in their topic of conversation , and has simply moved on.

In the New Testament, the followers of Christ are commanded to preach the word. Because of this, many are "shouting" but I think it does not necessarily mean that they are forcing people to join them. However, there are really many zealots to the extent of perhaps compelling others to join them. But this is not the command.

persuing others to believing in once rligion is not a bad thing but every religion wants its community to spread in all diraction,but the question is how to perform this practice,the community i belong to has a very strong rules and regulations,we respect all religion, we believe that every religion's persuation is towards good charactors,no metter what religion is it,for eg: no religion in the world calls to speak lie or to hurt other infect all religion calls towardr heven.if any one wants to persuade others to follow them in their conviction should call him by their good deeds and not by forcing people to adopt their relgion or by giving bad words to the opposit religion.this only spreads enimity and not religion,so work for the mankind and be a humanbeing
