Superstitious

Well I am superstitious but only in times of desperation, or sadness.

there is one english movie "Cast away" released in 2000 which show clearly how one become a believer and superstitious.

I'm not superstitious, I found out that it is just based on legends and passed on to us by our ancestors. I also learned that these beliefs are just made for an individual to act accordingly to what society dictates them, it's like preventing you from thinking freely and independently. I don't mind people who rely's on these beliefs, as long as they don't push their beliefs in me..

no i am not superstitious. there is no evidence or any truth to a supertition. for example see a pin and pick it up all the day you'll have bad luck. it dosen't always happen if you don't pick up a pin. i think it is just a matter of how you think about it.

I don't believe in Superstitious. I view every aspect in scientific view. Although my parents are still superstitious,I find myself in a difficult position in arguing them for showing ignorance in the laws of nature. I think no matter which part of the world you tour, you will find the natives nurturing certain beliefs and superstitions and my dwelling place is no exception in this case. Though our society is fast progressing, there are many people who are still superstitious and have a strong faith in the local beliefs. While some of them are quite hilarious, few others are really interesting, as many aspects of life are linked to them. Few beliefs even find their way into the religious texts and scriptures. i am not superstitious, according to me those who are weak both mentally and physically are generally very superstitious . Your religion and society also will make you to be a superstitious. Even if most of the believers are superstitious there are some i know there are some non believers also who are superstitious. I am very sympathetic to superstitious persons. =D
