What do YOU think is the best thing to do if you met up with a BEAR?

It really depends what kind of bear one is confronted with....I remember hearing somewhere, some bears are great runners, but can't climb trees well, while others are the exact opposite...so like if you decided to run, and it happens to be a bear that's a good runner, think one would be out of luck, same thing if you climbed a tree and that particular species of bear is the climber kind...Hey when in doubt...maybe just scream..might scare it away...LOL

Im scared of the woods because i accidently coming face to a bear is something that i dont want,so i never go alone without my boyfriend and im always paranoid even with him there.I think i watched too many scary movies that made me scared of almost everything in the woods,haha:)
