How often to you clean your puter?

Last night after my surfing time I made a hole virus and spyware check up. I had got a updated cleaing program with firewall. I had one virus, 13 spy programs and something els I did not know about. However I got rid of it and my puter works faster today. How about you, how often do you clean your puter? Do you get rid of everything unwanted things you got?

I clean mine totally every 6 months. I back everything up onto DVD's and wipe it clean. I clean the history and stuff out a couple of times a month. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~
