Arguments for or against requiring students to wear school uniforms

I quite agree with the view that students of primary and high schools are required to wear school uniforms.
Wearing uniforms can build a sense of the collective in children from early on. By wearing uniforms they will be very much aware that they belong to a group and their behavior should be in the interest of their group.

undoubtedly, wearing school uniforms has the advantages you cited above. however, there are also some disadvantages. first, wearing uniform is the decision of school, how could leaders of school know that student would like to wear uniform. maybe,most students object. second, wearing uniform, to some extent, deny creativity. finally, dont you think that students may losr their activity because they are all the same.
