Travel groups

I am wondering if anyone here belongs to any travel groups or anything like that. I want to start travelling and don't like the idea of traveling alone. All my friends would rather stay idle here and do the same thing day after day after day, but me I want to see the world. Is there an easy and safe way to meet others who are interested in this as well? Had anyone ever traveled with someone they only met through a group or online? Are there other ways to meet other travelers?

I never like to go to have a travel with a travel group. I want freedom so I like to go to travel with few friends. You can also search the internet to find whether there are some people want to have a travel, too. Then probably you can go together.
