ever experienced when your child is having a tantrum and you are in a crowd? when your child cries aloud in a crowd, how do you feel? do you feel embarrased and wish your child would stop crying? what have you done to quiet your child? one time I was riding the jeepney with my wife and my child cried very much. It was already annoying to the crowd and to the passengers of the jeepney. I did not do anything to make him quiet. he kept crying until we got off the jeepney. well it was one experience. next time I will not bring him anymore. my child is so spoiled. have you experienced anything like this? what did you do?

It is so embarrassing when that happens! I don't have the option of just not taking the kids with me so I just have to do what I have to get them to stop. When I think ahead I tell my children what's expected of them before we go and what will happen if they don't behave and it makes a difference. Sometimes I'm in such a rush that I just forget though....

Our daughter really never cried in public except when shes overly tired and that was the case the other day.Saturday night we had a wedding to go to and then went to the dance afterwards. She was so tired and kept asking to leave well,my boyfriend tried to get her to stay longer and we came home at 12:30am from it.We got up at 9:00am and went out of town, shopped, came back for the wedding supper for 5:00pm,stayed there till 8:00pm,came home, she played, went to bed and woke up at 4:30am in the morning, went to kindergarden at 9:00am,i picked her up,came homeand went to the store around 1:00pm to get something.I knew i shouldnt of brought her because she was irritable and so excitable that she started crying and having a fit and kicked me.I knew something was wrong and she was totally exausted from the frantic wekend.I let her cry and we went out side and it all came out.She cried so hard that she lost her breath sometimes.I calmed her down and we went home and she went in her room and slept till after supper and woke up at 8:00pm to eat something and went straight back to bed for the rest of the night. She only cries when she is overly tired or very hungry and hunger pains, besides hurting herself of course.;);)Im not embarrased of this, but my boyfriend is.Its part of life and the way children are when they are young.:)

your perspective is right. It is a part of life and that is the way of children when they are young, so we should not be ashamed. thanks for your response. I'll develop that kind of perspective.

oh dear, so sorry to hear about that. i hate it when kids throw tantrums and wish their parents would just smack them. perhaps you could try to discipline him at home, and tell him that if he does not behave he will not be allowed to go out with you. good behaviour is a condition of trips out.
