In your country,When will people send presents?

In China,firstly,people send gifts on special days,as Spring Festival or birthday.People give out red bads with money,clothes and so on to relatives,which are a symbol of blessing for mext year.At a friends birthday party,we usually present a gift such as flowers, new clothes and decorations.Secondly when close friends part,they will exchange some gift for happy memories of their friendship.

In India, there are several states and each state have their own festivals like harvest festival, some festivals are dedicated to gods and some festivals are observed to commemorate the killing of demons. On these occasions, people give gifts to others especially clothes, ornaments etc. Other wise when a girl gets marrried, all here relatives and friends give gifts to her. When elderly person celebrates 60th birth anniversary, they are honoured with gifts.

Hello kangying.
In my country you can give gifts during occassions like Christmas, anniversary, birthday, mother's day, father's day, grandparents' day, valentines day, graduation day, wedding day, etc. there's just too many to mention :)
