If you breastfed your child,did they bite you by mistake?

What was your reaction when they did it and theirs?Did they relize they hurt you and took themseves off and look up at you?My daughter did it only once and i let a loud ouch out and she pulled herself off and looked at my face for a bit and never did it again.She relized that she hurt mommy by seeing the reaction i made from her nibble.:{OUCH!

My son would start eating and then forget to breath and sputter and bite down. I would just suck in a deep breath and take him off the nipple until I no longer felt like I was dieing and then finished the feeding. I don't think he ever realized that he was hurting mommy.

Hi there.Its a kind of pain that strikes deep down inside the body,haha,but i dont feel like experiencing again,even if its not their fault and are in another world of comfort.

Yeah I can't say that I enjoyed the experience myself. It's one of those things that you cringe when thinking about it!

Both of my kids have done it once or twice. I felt really bad because I wasn't paying attention and your first reaction when something is biting you is to smack at it. I didn't smack them hard but they cried, so then I cried. I felt so bad. Luckily they never did it once they had teeth.

Yes for some of us it is our first reaction to do it to defend ourselves.Your lucky that they did not do it with teeth,its painfull.

By mistake???? LOL my daughter used to do it because she thought it was funny LOL that was before she had teeth thank goodness. She would comp down and pull until it was outta her mouth. It was awful. and when I reacted she would just giggle LOL little booger
