Can i use internet on my cellphone by using usb bluetooth adapter on my PC.

I have recently bought the wireless bluetooth adapter for my pc to transfer files from/to my cellphone Nokia 6131 but i was told by somebody that i can also use this device to get internet access on my cell by using the same device ...... but i am not sure how it can happen,but if that could happen then that would be great opertunity for me to use cheap internet on my cell instead of using expencive Edge internet provided by the mobile company ..........
