That's great! Would you like to participate in my discussion? In this one, I'm wondering what you would do if you could actually create your life - your real life?

I have no idea in what context your comments are.

the comments I see are from females .... not sure what that means .... maybe we are all searching for some self-satisfaction ... for that perfect world .... for a knowledge that we are not crazy ....

Well if I could wave a want and erase the violence of your past - I would. My husband and I think of houses in real life. We want to build an environmentally friendly home thats low energy. Solar and wind powered. And he wants plenty of rooms underground - just in case - and I want a dome home - as they can withstand disasters - hurricanes, tornados, fires - termites. We always look at those planned communities sites. You know - not the kooky ideas - but the ones where people live on the same area of land - sometimes do their own thing - sometimes theres a shared business - and they can have their privacy most of the time if they want (which we likely would ) but once a week they come together for a meal and they share taking care of the property - like of the organic greenhouses and such. I know - different huh? What ideas do you have for homes?

BTW - I'm so happy you answered my topic - I've had so many the past few days that have been ignored. Before I took my break from mylot, I used to get at least seven replies for each topic. It makes it interesting.

*nods* Thank you. I know you would, you kind soul. =) Actually, that sounds like you have some really interesting ideas! I've always been kind of interested in the private but community type living too... I always have this stupid dream where I buy some land up here where I live and build several houses on it, and then just kind of let my friends and I have our own little community. =) I would like to have something energy-efficient as well. Since my husband and I are both kind of weird and paranoid, other considerations are things like hidden passageways, traps for intruders, self-defense mechanisms, hidden weapons... yeah, I know, we're weird. Another thing that's a big deal to me is that I'd love to have a room for nothing but spiritual purposes. Probably in a tower or turret type thing, so it could be kind of "separate" and preferably roundish. =) Oh, I'm sorry to hear you haven't been getting as many responses! I have been kind of weird lately myself... sometimes I won't be on for days and other times I'll be on all day. A lot of things going on for me offline. But I'll try to keep an eye out for your discussions!
