How did your gardens do this year?

I was pleasantly surprised with how well my garden did even though I started it late. In fact we are still picking tomatoes, peppers, eggplants and squash. My garden is not large only about 12 foot by 20 foot and there is a big hole in the middle where I tried to get a large bolder out (I could move it slightly but not enough to get it out of the garden). We had plenty of beans, corn (four varieties) zucchini squash, turban squash, two types of gourds (for crafts), and two pumpkins that weigh about 50 to 75 pounds each. Next year I will be enlarging the garden (so that there will be less grass to mow) and more fruits and vegetables to eat).

I am sure that those apricots and pears were tasty as well as the grapes. I am still picking peppers, egg plants, tomatoes, summer squash and I will dig my potatoes soon. I live in Western "Taxachussetts" and we have had frost but we have been covering the plants at night to help keep them from getting too cold.
