Vote for the Animals - ends tonight!

I know there are a lot of animal lovers on mylot, so I thought I would let you all know... There is a contest that the new website Razoo is putting on. It is like a myspace for charities. The charity with the highest number of votes wins a grant for their organization. Saving Shelter Pets, Inc. is the ONLY animal related charity in the competition. The polls close at 11:59 pm tonight - oct 15th. Please consider voting for them (voting is FREE). You will have to register for Razoo and then you can cast your vote: http://beta.razoo.com/acts/vote_for_saving_shelter_pets Right now SSP is in second place and hoping for a win. SSP pulls dogs and cats from highkill shelters in Georgia, spays them, and nurses them to health and then transfers them to rescues with aggressive adoption programs. They also sponsor a free cat spay day in georgia to help prevent so many kittens being dumped at one of the shelters they work with in Georgia, and sponsor a spay/neuter clinic in southern ohio. Also, they target counties where there is no lowcost/low income available with a certificate program. It has made a huge difference. They have been able to save 1200 dogs and cats from shelters, as well. There is so much that can be done with a grant - voting is free so please do so:)
