Maximizing Profits

I belong to a number of internet work at home programs and am having a hard time making them work out. Many of the programs are referral based and a few have to do with selling people on the idea of doing something or purchasing something. Does anyone know of a free resource that can help me turn these programs into something I can actually pay bills with?
