I am on a new medication has anyone takinthis before???

ok... i went to see my doctor on friday and she put me on a new medication.. she said that we have tried almost all the new drugs and cant find on that works so we are trying the older ones... this one is called remeron. has anyone out there takin this before and if you have can you tell me if it worked for you.. i took it the first time friday night like the doctor said it is a depression pill and it will help with my sleep. now she told me not to take the ambian with it so i didnt, but i felt really sleepy allday saturday. so i took it again saturday night and i still feel kind of loopy. is this normal for this drug???? your responses will be greatly appreciated..

Hmm that doesn't sound like it is normal. You should definitely call your doctor right away and explain what is going on. They will probably want you to stop taking it right away. This has happened to me before, and they told me to stop taking it right away because it could be dangerous.

she said it will help me sleep, and i do hae an appointment with her in two weeks. i will call her this week if it gets any worse. but thank you you were helpfull
