Do you always buy new clothes for festivals, birthday, anniversary etc? Or you just pick up clothes when you come across any thing good?

Our entire family buys new clothes only during festivals. Our greatest festival is Durga Puja which is starting just tomorrow. It’s a week-long festival, the preparations for which began almost a month ago. The shopping spree for us ladies start around the end of August as we have to give clothes to be stitched to the tailors. Well now the clothes are ready, the men and kids have bought readymade garments, gifts have been exchanged and we are all set to celebrate for tomorrow. We will again buy new clothes in the month of April which is our new year month. Apart from these two occasions, we buy clothes on birthdays, anniversaries and also when we need them. so basically we buy clothes throughout the year lol!

I usually buy our clothes at the end of season clearance racks. I cant see paying full price for clothes. If your patient and watch the store you can almost always get what you want at a discount. We also enjoy shopping at our Goodwill and Salvation Army stores.
